Westfest was founded in 1976 as a means for the west community to raise funds for a variety of projects, including various athletic facilities for youth groups, senior citizen. The annual celebration commemorates the establishment of west valley city and recognizes its citizen’s various cultural.

Westfest is an annual celebration. Westfest 2024 presents four full weekends of shows, a different presentation each week, to entice the loyal audiences who have returned for westfest.
